When Autopart International needed to re-skin their Nomadic Display properties with graphics that had an extra impact, Zap Creative provided our Metallic Lambda graphics. These graphics are output on a special metallic photographic substrate that provides an extra shine to Autopart International’s superior replacement auto parts. The graphics allow bright colors to pop, the end results were two great looking displays.

To compliment these newly renovated displays, Zap Creative provided a new fleet of Pronto banner stands. These stands feature our bold dye sublimation output on Poly Duck fabric. The end result is a trade show system that allows Autopart International to tackle their 2011 trade show schedule with the quality that the leader in the automotive aftermarket industry needs.

Best of 2010

The end of the year is upon us. Now the frantic pace of holiday shopping has waned, and our collective attention has turned to the annual Best of Lists. We’ll recount the Best Songs, Best Movies, Best Television and many others. While this concept gets played out ad nauseam in pop culture, it can be a great tool to reflect on our businesses and prepare for the coming New Year.

Many critical categories in our business can be reflected on in a Best of List. Who were our Best Customers, what was our Best Product or what was our Best Decision? Project Spotlight:  North Sails 20×20 at the Newport Boat Show.

The challenge was to take North Sail’s existing Nomadic Display 8′ pop-up and upgrade it to accommodate their new exhibiting needs. First, the well-worn frame and struts were completely refurbished under Nomadic’s NQA warrantee. We then placed it on a Nomadic Foundation, which featured a backlit graphic counter, 32" LCD and a second pole for product display and literature.

An additional 10′ was added with a full size dye-sub graphic displaying North Sail’s world renowned sails in action. This 10′ graphic serves as a backdrop to a semi-private conference area.

We also provided flooring for this 20×20 outdoor space. Weather resistent soft tiles in grey were chosen with a 2×2 logo printed directly on two sections.

The 40th Annual Newport International Boat Show, September 16-19, 2010, features new sailboats and powerboats, and thousands of products and services from both domestic and international exhibitors.
